Do I have to be there on the day?
Someone who can make decisions should be at both ends — usually you, sometimes a friend or an agent. The crew will ask where things go and whether borderline items are coming. If you cannot be present, leave a marked plan and a reachable contact, and we will work to it.
What happens if the keys are late?
It is the most common delay in the trade and we plan for it. The loaded truck waits at the standby rate rather than the full crew rate, and the crew takes its break during the wait so no working time is lost once the keys land.
Are my things covered while they are on the truck?
Goods in transit cover is included for every booked move and the limit is printed on your written plan. Items you packed yourself are covered for transit damage but not for breakage inside a sealed box we did not pack — which is why part-packing exists.
Can I pack some rooms and leave the rest to you?
Yes, and it is the most popular option. Most people pack the wardrobes and the bookshelves, then hand over the kitchen, the glassware and the loft. Tell us which rooms at the walkthrough and the part-pack is scheduled for the afternoon before.
What if the truck cannot park near the door?
We check this during the walkthrough and tell you honestly if a permit, a suspended bay or a shuttle van is needed. A long carry changes the hours, so it belongs in the plan rather than appearing as a surprise line afterwards.
Can you store everything for a few weeks between dates?
Yes. We load your unit, photograph the stack and hand over a written inventory, then bring it back when the new place is ready. The return trip is booked at the same crew rate as the outbound load, agreed when you first book.
